Due to the increase of single residents in Helsinki, the demand for tiny city apartments is higher than ever. Solutions for small space operations require high-quality and insightful design. Together with Mia Watkins, we designed a multifunctional furniture piece, "7IN1", that replaces the need for most non-bearing walls and loose furniture around the apartment. Our goal was simple - to challenge the thinking of what today's built-in furniture can look like. That was achieved by designing a coherent piece with all required functions for our urban lifestyle client while showing appreciation for the building’s old architecture.
